Mission

The mission and principal purpose of Goldfields Pride Inc is to promote the health and wellbeing of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and asexual (collectively LGBTQIA+) people in the Goldfields Region.

Vision

To create a safe and open community within the Goldfields, where people are free to express themselves and supported to do so.

Aims

Increase visibility and acceptance of the Pride Community in the Goldfields

Provide a wide range of peer support, resources, events and activities which promote the mental and physical health and wellbeing of the Pride Community

Provide advocacy and leadership aimed at reducing disadvantage and discrimination among the Pride Community

Support, promote and build awareness of local health services, mental heath services and other relevant support services and organisations available for LGBTQIA+ people

Make the Goldfields more attractive to LGBTQIA+ locals and tourists by promoting the Goldfields as a safe and inclusive destination.
